Background and Experience

I am a dedicated Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Hull with a strong focus on practical design and development. My experience spans CAD modelling, 3D printing, engineering analysis, FEA and hands‑on prototyping. I enjoy working through the full product‑development process, from initial concept and calculations to testing and manufacture.

In my first year I achieved a 2:1 overall, including 76% on a squash‑ball flywheel launcher project and 89% in an Engineering Ethics group project where I led most of the work. I am Vice President of the University Engineering Society, and I am Treasurer of the University Go‑Kart Society and a member of Hull Electric Racing Team (HERT), which deepens my interest in automotive and electric‑vehicle engineering.
